What is EOD

The Executive Orientation Desk (“Ask a Global Counsel”) is a confidential orientation mechanism for senior executives, General Counsel, boards, founders, and private capital facing emerging cross-border legal exposure.

It exists for moments where:

  • decisions are being considered,

  • commitments have not yet hardened,

  • and jurisdictional, enforcement, or regulatory behaviour is not fully visible.

The Desk provides context and orientation, not legal advice, mandates, or representation.
Its purpose is to help decision-makers understand how law is likely to function in practice across jurisdictions, before exposure becomes consequential.

What the Desk Provides

The Executive Orientation Desk supports understanding of:

  • regulatory posture and volatility across jurisdictions

  • enforcement behaviour and delay patterns

  • cross-border friction between legal systems

  • dispute emergence and escalation risk

  • practical reality of arbitration, litigation, mediation, and enforcement

The Desk does not:

  • provide legal opinions,

  • recommend counsel,

  • structure transactions,

  • or represent parties.

Engagement & Contribution

Engagement is reviewed on submission.

Orientation contributions typically range between USD 1,000 – 5,000, depending on:

  • number of jurisdictions involved,

  • depth of behavioural assessment required,

  • and follow-up clarification requested.

The contribution reflects the scope of orientation, not the outcome.
