Malcolm Mifsud is a co-founder of Mifsud & Mifsud Advocates with over 25 years of experience in civil, commercial, and criminal litigation. He regularly advises individuals, corporate entities, and public institutions, and is the Firm’s accredited agent at Identity Malta for immigration matters. Malcolm has served five terms as Mayor and as President of the Central Region, and represented Malta in the EU Committee of Regions. He is also a shareholder and director of Aegis Corporate Services Limited and sits on the School Board of San Anton School.

Malcolm Mifsud qualified as a lawyer in 1995 and began his career as an associate at one of Malta’s largest law firms. In 1998, he branched out on his own and later co-founded Mifsud & Mifsud Advocates in 2007 with his brother Cedric. He has extensive experience in Civil and Commercial litigation, advising individuals, corporate structures, and public institutions in Malta and abroad.

As an Advocate for Legal Aid, Malcolm represented clients in criminal trials by juries and is recognized as one of the lawyers with the widest experience in criminal litigation in Malta. He served as Mayor five times between 1994 and 2013, and as President of the Central Region in 2009. From Malta’s EU accession until 2013, he was a member of the Committee of Regions in Brussels and participated in numerous EU committees on a variety of subjects.

Malcolm regularly advises on civil, corporate, and commercial law and leads litigation matters. He is the Firm’s accredited agent at Identity Malta, advising clients on various immigration schemes, and serves as a point of reference for multiple local government entities. He advises several major Maltese companies and sits on the boards of directors of various corporate entities.

He is also a shareholder and director of Aegis Corporate Services Limited, a corporate service provider licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority, and serves on the School Board of San Anton School.
