Fortnite is one of the most popular cloud gaming titles, with 45% of respondents saying they’ve played it on their phone. But other genres like strategy and puzzle games are also gaining traction. For example, 32% of respondents said they’ve played mobile strategy games like Clash of Clans and Game of War.
VR and AR Experiences on the Rise
Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) experiences are becoming increasingly popular on mobile devices. According to our survey, 62% of respondents have tried VR or AR games on their phone at least once. The most popular VR title is Beat Saber, with 27% of respondents saying they’ve played it.
What sets VR and AR games apart is their immersive nature. Players can fully engage with the game world, using controllers or even their own bodies to interact with the environment. For instance, 21% of respondents said they’ve used a VR headset to play a game, while 15% said they’ve used AR to play a game.

As we explore the world of mobile entertainment, it’s worth noting that the boundaries between gaming and other forms of entertainment are becoming increasingly blurred.
